Lloyd isn’t going on any high profile interviews anymore and it has to be crushing him inside. Life comes at you fast. One minute you’re the toast of the community taking selfies with Leah Remini. Now you’re going live with a less than 1000 views Christian apologist and getting nothing but shit in the live chat almost 3 weeks out.

I’m a firm believer that the Gold interview was his last stab at salvaging something out of all this. In typical Lloyd fashion, he took a huge dump all over it because it was beneath him to apologise and ask for forgiveness.

Gold seemed to understand this and prompted him for an apology. Lloyd quickly declined and Andrew pressed him. Then in what had to amount to one of the most bizarre quotes to ever come from him, he wouldn’t apologise because it would “weaken the currency” of his supposed apology to his wife.

I say “supposed” because I doubt he ever apologised to her, and definitely not in any meaningful way. Read those letters. Does that sound like someone who was sorry? Even after getting informed that his wife was divorcing him, he was still babbling on about how advantageous an open marriage would have been to both parties.

Imagine that. You are being divorced for infidelities and you attempt to stop it by promising by limiting yourself to prostitutes in Zagreb!

The Gold interview would have been an excellent vehicle for him to put all this behind him had he issued an unequivocal apology. Anyone who gave him shit could have been referred to that video.

He doubled down on the non-apology and sued everyone in an ultimately doomed and embarrassing lawsuit. In his middle age, he’s a lot like his stubborn elder father in more ways than he could ever admit. What a legacy. The Evans male bloodline is going to peter out with these two underemployed assholes.

He’s deleted most of the comments. With the livestream scheduled in 17 days, it’s almost like it’s a social experiment to garner how many people despise Lloyd.

Imagine being that much of a dick that people are commenting in the live chat 17 days before it goes live.

But I was here when he was posting and I can attest to how much of a shitty asshole he was and is.

Oftentimes it’s beneficial for children to experience a period of estrangement from a parent when they are that toxic and abusive. I found out a few disturbing things about my father and needed to separate myself for my own good. And it was ultimately beneficial for our relationship as it allowed it to reset, for him to come to terms with the harm he caused and for the cycle of toxicity and abuse to end for good.

I can’t help but think it might be best for his children to be limited in their interactions with him due to his persistent narcissism and patterns of manipulation. He denies this is the case and mercilessly attacks people who point this out. This is not a healthy blueprint for a parental relationship.

Which would 100% confirm to even his most deluded patron he authored them....to me they make him look worse than even his livestream, I can't get over how abusive they are

This is why he has never acknowledged the letters either directly or through a proxy. Lloyd’s not shy about singing to the world that information is false or forged - but he went nowhere near these letters. For good reason too - He knows they are real and denying it publicly only draws attention to them. Nor did his wife break her silence to say they were forged or weren’t forwarded by her as has been claimed.

What was in those letters was pure and unadulterated Lloyd. It’s how he thinks and how he treats everyone who dares to contradict him.

They are a true work of art and should be in a textbook about domestic abuse. When his girls read them they’ll understand fully why their mum needed to get away.

Any rational person would want his ex-wife as far away from this court case as possible since the disclosure of his infidelities comprise a central tenet of his claims of defamation. To compound the matter further, she voluntarily disclosed this information in addition to a lot of the context behind it to parties outside the marriage.

He may think she could testify to the amount he earned or the veracity of the Marko emails, but at what cost? He’s exposing her to a blistering cross examination which would invalidate most of his other claims (I.e. patrons quitting because he cheated on his wife, his reasons for going to Thailand). The letters she released could also be entered into evidence and she could be deposed on the contents of those and why she sent it to other parties.

Does he not realise that her testimony is only going to make him look worse and that his claims of defamation were actually based of factual information?

The numbers are naturally correcting themselves from not only the artificial begging bounce last April but the overall problem Lloyd faces. Look at the end of the videos where he lists the patrons. These are the $10 a month and more Patrons, plus whoever Lloyd decides to add. Could also contain private donors as well that do not use Patreon. Their numbers are set at 144-145 and have been for months.

145 represents his absolute rock bottom. The remaining 238 are the $1 and $5 patrons who aren't anywhere nearly as invested in Lloyd as the 145 diehards are. These are the casual patrons, many of whom were persuaded by his constant pleas for more money and threats to shut down shop if he went below a certain number.

This is why that begging stunt was a bad idea, especially since he had absolutely no intention of making his channel better. In fact it has gotten worse. Lloyd essentially has shut down with no videos in over a month and is steering hard away from JW topics. At some point the donor is asking themselves: this is what I am pledging for? A guy who jets off to North America for over a month, takes shrooms and meets God?

Based on the comments he is getting (and deleting), mushroomgate is letting it be known that this is not a serious channel anymore. WT is not coming down as promised and Lloyd Evans is most certainly not the man to lead a charge. He's too busy fucking around and getting high.

I didn't watch his video so is it possible he said Canada when he meant California?

He said Canada more than once and it’s hard to confuse the Canadian weather in late November with that in LA at the same time of year.

Sounds like it’s the same ~~fool~~ supporter. Lloyd did say he eagerly took him up on it and implied the stay took longer than originally planned. My guess is he went for the hooker holiday in Hollywood first and then took up his benefactor’s offer for shrooms and flew at his expense (again) to Canada to see him.

Maybe Simon has a point. That’s a lot of money to put into Jabba the Hutt’s holiday plans without some sort of quid pro quo.

Someone with a vested interest in pushing these drugs saw an opportunity to recruit someone with enough of a YouTube audience that it was worth their expense to fund his 'experiment' so he could blab about his wonderful 'experience' to promote their use.

That would be standard business practice for Lloyd. I can see him being DMed and emailed by interested parties to go to the shroom guy, and Lloyd forwards the contact info to his friend in exchange for a percentage.

He did the same thing with COC. He referred people to Arthur after promoting the bootleg on one of his videos, Arthur did all the work, and Lloyd received a cut of the profits.

I certainly maintained the view, based on what lloyd said, that mushrooms were not illegal in Canada and that he could have been going to a person with recognised qualifications in that area of medicine.

I must confess that I too was misled into thinking it was a legitimate enterprise in Canada. After all, they seem to have liberal laws concerning euthanasia and lax drug policies.

Now that I think of it, his friend was probably some self-styled new age “therapist” working out of a teepee or yurt in Saskatchewan. Anyone can print a business card out of nothing and make bold claims of expertise in certain fields.
